I adored how many tender moments were shared on this wedding day: like Mo watching Lauren take portraits from the balcony, Lauren’s mom watching bridal party photos through the window, and Lauren’s teary-eyed dance with her dad.

I talk about this a lot on my social media and weekly email list but you all know that marriage (not just wedding day) is so important to me. So what do you think I had to ask Josh and Marleca before their Anniversary Session? Of course, I had to ask them about marriage, but I also wanted to ask them what they hoped for from their anniversary session.

MY HOMEBIRTH STORY THE BIRTH TEAM Before I share the story I have to say that I couldn’t have done it without Elisha, my patient, and strong supporter and husband, Bethany, our sister and doula (and BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHER) who showed me how to cope with the pain and was such a calming presence, and Star and Esther at Sacred Space Midwifery who […]

Before picking up the camera full time and centering my business around capturing authentic love stories, I was a middle school Spanish teacher. My affection for education and connection seeps into my day-to-day as a photographer; I love being able to guide couples through the journey to “I do,” from how to pose behind the camera to how to make a wedding day as seamless as can be.
When I’m not getting my couples laughing in front of the lens or creating their cherish-worthy custom albums, you can find me exploring the outdoors with my husband and baby boy, serving at church, or spending time with loved ones.
The email you never knew you were missing. Hilarious personal stories, reflections on marriage, and wedding day bloopers from yours truly.
